A future classroom
ReplyDelete1. I think that this will really happen because the tecnology development is very fast and in a few years will have inteligent desk tables. Those will be replace paper books and writting. The image could be the main element of knowledge. But we always need the professor, to give us different subjets and to learn more.
2. I would feel comfortable because I like tecnology. I always refuse to carry heavy bags and books, so I prefer go to school without bags and only a little tablet.
In another way I think it will be bored to erase the diference between people like writting or belongings.
3. The advantages would be the progress, the safe time, and the confort.
The desadvantages would be the boring, the worst part of the confort. Another one, would be a world more easier. The people to look at tecnology, so they wouldn´t see the real world, or the things that would happen.

DeleteI think that the new generations of human beings will be adapted to new tecnology, so they will able to cope with it. Perhaps, it is more difficult to us or adults to accepte this changes.

Delete1) I think something like the video shows, could happen because the technology advances every day. But I don't think that, for example, my children will have this education because this progress could take some many long years and perhaps this has difficulties because it will need a lot of money and time.

I would feel interested because there are many things that you can do with this technology for example as the video shows, you can communicate with children for another country or explore things for times ago. But also I would feel uncomfortable because sometimes I don’t understand very much the technology and I prefer read books and no the computer because this makes me have headache.
3) The advantage of having this classroom is that the immediate information that this technology brings to you, also the communicate with another country and culture. Other advantage is the comfort that the classroom have, for example the touch screens that are amazing. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages of having this classroom for example that sometimes the technology don't work very well so that makes that the class be ruined. Also, the books and the old things is going to disappear because the new generation is not going to use.
So true! Books will eventually disappear.... sad!
Delete1) That Classroom of the future would really became something real, beacuse over the years technology and science were developed really fast. That type of classes would not surprise me and nowadays we already have used touchscreens and computers that replace the folders, like this blog.

3) An advantage would be the fact that with technology everything is faster and practical, you will never get bored. Anyway, a disadvantage would be that poor countries that can not even afford their food, never could experience a classroom like that and it's unfair

Delete1) Nowdays, the technology is growing up all the time in all the world, in some places more than others, but it's possible that what the video shows could really happen in the future. For me, that kind of teaching isn't the best and the more successful but it's true that how the technology is advancing, it could be that in the future the books would disappear and the education would implement another ways of teach including the new discoveries .
ReplyDelete2) I would feel lost and i wouldn't understand how to learn with that form because i'm not used that way. In my opinion, i prefer to study from a book than from a touch tablet, maybe is because i didn't born on that technology time and i'm living a classic way of education compared with the video.
3) One advantage of having a classroom like that is that the class would be more interactive and easy to catch the children attention and also that they could be related with children from another countries and share different knowledge. Another one, is that is more comfortable to carry a tablet than lots of book for the children.
On the other hand, there are disadvantages like for me is to much technology to have a class like that and the relationship between the teacher and the student is going to lose. Also, the connection with the student and the object will disappear, for example, the connection with the student and the object will disappear, for example how to do a manual experiment or teamwork will be replaced by technology.
Wow - I'm surprised to find a teenager who isn't very enthusiastic about technology! I see what you mean and agree with you too. However, I think there's nothing we can do to avoid it...
Delete1) I think this will really happen in a nearly future because is true that new technological tools are being developed all the time. Also, humans’ love this developed, we don´t care about incorporate new things in our life style, even if they will change it. First, because that unusual new technologic, draw our attention, catches us and we are always open to the new! But what I really think is that Argentina, economically is so far away to be part of this excited future.
ReplyDelete2) If I had that classroom I would feel in my world, I mean, I’d feel comfortable, relax, with the feeling that it is worth studying in that way, I mean I would had more eager to go to school.
3) There are a huge variety of advantages and disadvantages, for example, one advantage would be students wouldn’t forget to bring their school tools, such as the book, same photocopies, the folder or the pencil case, because they would have them all in one “tablet”. Also, comfort is an advantage, in the case of the heavy bags, they would only had to carry on the “tablet” and if they wanted same food.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. In the case of the book or photocopies, the students may forget how to read in a real book, in a piece of paper. Also, they might change their life in couch potatoes students because technology would do all for them and finally, they may change their point of view about what is the real world and how it´s works.

2) At first I would feel eager to go to school because i would be proving something completely new and out of the ordinary. But then I would lose the fun and get used. It would be very comfortable having this kind of technology in schools because we are constantly looking for information and trying to learn new things and in different ways.
3) There are some advantages and disadvantages about that. One of the advantages is that you can communicate very easily with someone in another country. You can get quick and easy accessibility to information.
On the other hand, the disadvantages are that when you got so much comfort, you would lost the notion of the existence of other basic element. When you need find information or play, for example, books, board games, maybe outdoors. Finally, when you have everything in a single object, you leave aside the real world and you start to live in a world of technology completely out of reality.

Delete1) I believe this could happen in a not so distant future, but I dont really know how things will change. The education will change in the future because the technology is moving very fast, so schools, universities and museums cant stay without implementing the technological changes of the time. They need to be updated.
ReplyDelete2) I would feel weird, confused but so excited to try all the new technologies implemented in the classroom. I couldnt believe that everything is with touch screen. Also would be more fun and dynamic education, everything will be written on computers and the homework would be sent via e-mail.
3) The advantages would be many, such as, that the kids would already acclimated to living with technology, we could send more quickly, easily and comfortably the homework, teachers can teach in different ways, as students can learn in different ways too. As shown in the video we can communicate instantly with people from other countries who speak other languages using the boards with touch screen, also draw objects and these move by technology.
I dont think it has many disadvantages, but it have one, and it is very serious. It is a sedentary lifestyle. This would increase fastly and uncontrollably. Would decrease physical activity in schools. In addition to being in front of technological devices long time cause serious injuries such as eye irritability, headache, etc.

ReplyDeletePersonally, if i have yo choose, i'd rather a school like mine only by the fact that we would have to stop using books that are very important to the Story and we have to change by computers or tablets, that would make me sad. But everything would be easier and we wouldnt have to make such an effort.
2) If i had classroom i would feel lost but at the same time i would feel excited to try new things like this.
So i would like to try how it feels to have classes in a classroom like that
3) An advantage of having this classroom is that with the technology we can inmediatly find the información that we are looking for or we can comunícate easily with children from other countries.
Other advantage is that with the technology everything is more practical, for example; is more easier to carry one tablet in the bag than a lot of books.
On the other hand there are some disadvantages, for example; there are some countries that have difficulties in having technology because they have enough money, like África, Children dont even have to eat.
Other disadvantage is that if we accustomed to use the technology every day, when we have to use a book we wouldnt know how to do it.
