We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher, leave them kids alone
Hey, teacher, leave the kids alone
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall

1 - I think that nowadays the relationship between teachers and students is more natural. Students can say what they think and teachers must hear them furthermore the tecnology has been advanced untill today and that allows students to know things that 20 years ago didn´t know.
ReplyDelete2- In my opinion the song is talking about how the education was in the past. We know that in the past the teachers had "the absolute opinion" about everything and students had to do things that they did not like and did not agree. The wall represents "the close thoughts" of the past that the students had to "break" to create a new kind of thought: an open thought.
3- In our country the education is very important! But I think that our government is not doing all the things that should do to make better the state education. Primary and Secondary schools that are publics are not as good as private, but on the other hand we have the best publics universities in all Latin America. I could say that we are very good in educational areas but we must fix some aspects of public schools.
#1 and #3 - Very interesting thoughts... I see things in mainly the same way -
Delete#2 - Good answer, though "the wall" is connected with something else... do you know what??
1)I think that in the past it was harder to study because of the methods but now there is another type of relation between the teachers and the students. Also the technology made a change in the communication between the school and the students.
ReplyDelete2)In my opinion that song was important because another brick in the wall is like another, the same or like the others; it means to follow an stereotype. Also the word brick is used like a square thought.
3)In one hand i think that it is really important because if you don't study you have less chances to get o job. On the other hand i have to say that i dont think that the type of education the students have is the correct.
Excellent answers!!! That's the way I want you to answer all the questions - I felt you got really into it!
Delete1.I think that nowadays the relationship between students and teachers is different because it is less strict and also the students can say what they think and also discuss about lot of things. Another fact is that teachers can use different ways for teaching, like videos or use internet and also students can search information on the internet.
ReplyDelete2. The song means that schools are made to make people became stereotypes and not people. They don't teach students how to think, they show they what to think. So they are all identical. It is a critic about education and how they make a "wall" that isolate people.
3. I think that education is really important. But I think that this way of teaching is not the best one. I think that there must be some changes. Like being the same for everyone, not separeting students by ages, teaching students things they like and helping the ones that doesn't know what they like to find it.
Very interesting thoughts! I do agree with you! Well done.
Delete1)well, in the past, children were tried like animals, teachers hit children and tried them very bad.
ReplyDelete2)the song shows how the tried childen in schools in that time, it says that children must stop all that system of school, and schools didn t teach childern, they only made them similar.
3)I think that education is necesary for the life, children must go to school, but the teachers are not the only who teach children, just to convive with otherone people they learn
#1 Incomplete - What happend now??
Delete#2 What's the wall??
#3 I didn't understand the last sentence...
