  1. In the video of Mr Lucky are represented differents types of superstitions of bad lucky.

All start in Friday 13th. Mr lucky woke up and when he realised that it was that day, he thought that it would be a bad day.

First, the elevator was out of order so he had to use the stairs. Then, he was walking in the street and when he saw a stair he fell down because a bike hit him.

Suddenly, black cat appeared and when he continued walking something hit his head, something dirty.
When he arrived to his office, his boss was angry and nagged and shouted him, Mr, lucky became sad.

At the end of the video, Mr lucky, fell down and he stayed in the floor.

A bad day for him, poor Mr lucky, he seems to be nice!

  2. It refers to some superstition or urban legends like Friday 13 , or The ladder, or The Black Cat, so the character does everything wrong because of his bad luck.

  4. The superstitions represented in the video are the urban legends about Friday 13th and the Black Cat's legend. In USA Friday is considered an unlucky day and 13 is considered an unlucky number. The legend of the Black Cat said that if you come across a black cat you will have 7 years of bad luck.
The character, Mr Lucky, had a terrible day because of these bad omens. When he woke up, the elevator was out of order, so he had to use the stairs. When he was walking in the street a bike hit him. Then, when he came across a Black Cat, a dove defecated in his head. (Though here in Argentina it is believed that when a dove poo in someone's head is a good omen). Mr Lucky was late for work so he was fired! It was a terrible day for him.

    1. "The legend of the Black Cat said that if you come across a black cat you will have 7 years of bad luck."
Are you sure about this? or perhaps you are getting mixed up with the broken mirror?

    2. Yes, I mixed up the legends! Argh, I got confused because I've never known the difference between those two superstitions. To see a black cat is a bad omen, it is said that something bad is going to happen if you see one. But the 7 years of bad luck is only applied to the legend of the broken mirror.

  5. In the video, the superstitions represented are related to luck. First, we can see in the calendar that It's Friday 13, a day considered unlucky in some parts of the world. Then, we can see mr Lucky avoiding a stair so he doesn't have to walk under it. Later, a black cat stands in front of him.

Also, a bird pooped in his head. However, even though we normally say things like "that's bad luck" when something like this happens, I don't think there is a superstition regarding this haha.

    1. very good points, Paula. It's funny how, as Victoria mentioned above, we usually think it's good luck when a bird poops on us, or when we step on poo!

  9. Very creative video, i like so much the way wich the author made it. The video represent some kinds of superstisions.
Firstly, and the most popular one, Friday 13th. That's because in the USA Friday and 13 represent bad luck.
Later we can watch also the superstition about the black cat or the "walking under a leadder" one too.
Personally i think that bad or good luck are brought to our own world in concecuense of how we live our life. My grandmother always said me, possitive actions attract possitive fellings, situations, possitive people, and others. In conclution, sometimes bad luck it's not concentrated in a poor black cat, may be it's inside our minds.

    1. That's a very interesting point, Santiago; so you believe in something like positive thinking, more than in luck?

  10. Good video, its shows us some superstitions, and i think the used the technic stop motion to do it!

in the video there are two supertitions:

    1) Fridat the 13th are consider unlucky days becouse is related with a part of the bible. the Last Supper, being Judas the thirteenth guest at the table, who betrayed Jesus. Jesus was crucified on a Friday.

    2) Crossing a black cat, its a superstition becouse people blame it on their colour of darkness or those reflective evil eyes. black cats have been historically blamed for evils of the world.

I dont believe on superstitions so i dont have problems with black cats and i dont take care about fridat 13th or in our country tuesday 13th
